Shoe Collection

Grandma collected miniature shoes in her travels around the world.  I always remember my attraction to them as we would be at her dinning room table....she had special shelving unit made to display them so they would be "in scale" to the wood.  She put little labels on the soles to track from which country and which trip she had made the particular shoe purchase.  The above captures a small selection from the collection, which she gave to this lucky granddaughter, who happens to like "regular" size shoes and various countries quite a lot too.

Marikmekko Dress

Metallic dots. Super simple cut, seam at top shoulder, two pieces sewn together, including sleeves. Shaped enough by cutting in curves gently.

Note: circles here, spheres on prior post....what else to round it out?
