A sketch in clay.  Started with the top hair, changed to the ring here...plan on adding different media to be able to alter the hair style a bit.

Rocket

Hand Built-- about 19" tall

Was not exactly coils, more like wide-ish  rectangles. Used a hand drawn silhouette to guide shape here. Veered off the silhouette near the top when my drawn undulations weren't quite interpreting in clay with my hands. Leaving it textured.
