Fairy Garden / House -- Guest Artist

I was on a conference call when she flashed a picture to me on my phone..she had taken it from her Dad's phone. I saw it with one corner of eye, smiled at colors and charm, but didn't really have bandwidth at moment to take it all in.

I went outside later, and saw that my darling niece had created it in the front yard. Not only the composition that  goes right to my heart from her hand, but also the thought of the boat there.  She put this in track of roof downspout.  So when the rain comes, the boat in front will float from the water draining from the roof .  Ahhhhhhhh.  (Ok, so that house might do some floating in the rain, but that is very secondary to it all).

Getting better at sewing leather -- the pusher foot (walking foot?) made  a big difference.

He picked a lion, so that is what he got. Oddly shaped overall, but he knows he is a lion.

Waterfalls -- hills by home

Has been raining a lot here. Surprised to see how much water was coming from nearby hills-- creating several waterfalls, these two the most dramatic I found.  There are several small waterfalls in the county, but I hadn't seen these ones --and they are very close to home. 

This one below was about 70 foot drop.  I want near it to see if I could experience how heavy/what force the water was falling  (it was safe, not much of a fall (for me) possible), but I was getting too wet (and cold) from the splashes that hit the vertical face and on to me.
