Ride Day..rather, Ride weekend!

 

 

Back to a live event after a couple years virtual.  Long weekend and a lot of work, but ride generated a great amount of capital to help find a cure/make better this horrid disease.  Riders and their fundraising so gratifying. Dedicated volunteers to pull it off, including several friends from over the years of doing this event.  Was very busy with set up, day of, and day after, so didn't get very many pictures, but the goodness of the people internalized. .

Trying for "not cute," but not exactly there on this one. Right now, the light is too bright...know what light I will try next, just need to get hands on it. Plan soda fire, will add some mystery.

Art Project - research and study

Have had a rather time intensive research project going on -- study of an era of artists who lived in the county for some period of time during the era. Centers around an organization, but branches beyond. Not sure were it will lead, but time will tell.  Learned a lot.  And some interesting surprises...one in particular that is quite "wow" -- but, will also see where that leads.  Started it all for one aspect, and it morphed to the artist study (and then "avenued" to connections between the artists and projects/entities in the area).

Fun day roaming around

Yes, laughed at the sign -- the consequences of messing around is slaughter? San Francisco....newish part of the park that includes space where you walk over the freeway tunnels -- Presidio Tunnel Top Park ...designed by same firm that did the High Line in New York. Prior we all had fun on Clement -- exploring this and that...and dim sum (oh, and a new skirt...but the fabric was so nice...woman had made a store in former dry cleaning place..kept the racks ...up to the ceiling at an angle).
