Stitched Sketch

Took original pencil drawing on watercolor paper, stitched over it with sewing machine. Bernina gives agility, though tight circles are challenging. Let jelly fish tentacles hang lose (uncut threads).

Pom Poms

So easy, and a lot of fun....even for adults. Great you-tube showed flower style, as well as cut tissue version. Made a few more with multi crepe paper...makes a great noise when swinging through air back and forth...kind of like a hummingbird wing.

Number Dress

Quite by coincidence, I have created my own trend here of number dresses. But....perhaps it is my internal fashion radar that is making this happen.....hmmmm...let us see how predictive it becomes "out there." This dress was my first pleat project (easy)...turned out a bit big, but I was trying to make sure it could slip over my head and other parts...didn't want to mess with a zipper. A seamstress would shudder at some of my more creative attempts to make it smaller, but perhaps rest assured of their post at their profession secure without my competition.

43 Dress

Ok, it is really a tee shirt, but my niece appropriated tee I made for my brother...his favorite number. Made number on computer, enlarged, cut in denim and off white twill, applied with tight zig zag.
