Hope it looks like the pool of gold emanating from the base. Took a picture a friend shot, printed on velum, wrapped around glass holder about 8" tall, light inside.
The smaller one are votive holders using same technique.
Simple, but first without noticeable flaws. Shows growth in patience I think! Before I laud myself too much, please note that I had previosly been given two hand knitted black hats from Naomi. One was washed in the machine (wool, so shrunk), the other I lost (I knew one hour after I lost it, but that is still lost). Hopefully this black wool knitted hat will remain tangibly with me for some time.
Used banana fiber web with stitching to cover light. Hmmm. Could be better. Fiber has a bit of sheen to it, so while it is "natural" has some natural "bling" to it that plays with the light also.
The next day: Not satisfied that the potential of the fiber had been met with the light cover, played more with its ethereal freedom. More satisfied, yet not quite at the zenith yet.
