Tile Table taking form

Firing saw the glazes come to "life" in their final form. Overall worked out fine..a few missed colors from original, but the effect seems there. May re-fire a few oranges to get them deeper, and need to do a couple "fill-in" tiles to make up for space where shrinkage left me with a little more gap than desired. Next will adhere to base, then grout. 

Warm to the touch..fresh from the kiln.....yumm.

Glazing in Process -- Tile Table

Will see how this turns out.  My glaze experience is near zero, so hoping my test tile will yield similiar results to the tile project here...should get more intense in color, hopefully the right intensity!

Labelled locations on master "life size" copy of work..both on copy and on back of tile.  Easier now to find their place now that they have color and shape.  Next to coat with glossy thing for shine, and then fire.  And then...make table!
